What is included in the planning budget?
The planning budget includes sod material, delivery, installation labor, and selected prep assumptions, then shows a realistic range around those assumptions.
How do I use this page in order?
Pick your grass and soil prep level first. Then choose how to enter area: type total square feet, add length-by-width sections, or switch to the satellite map. The preview on the right updates as you change inputs. For the map, draw each lawn outline; totals update while you draw. Click “Use This Measurement” when you want that area locked into the manual field for the rest of the form.
How does the satellite map relate to the preview totals?
With “Measure on Satellite Map” selected, the planner reads live totals from your drawn shapes as you edit them. Press “Use This Measurement” to copy that total into the square-foot field and save it with your quote request. You can still switch to manual entry or redraw afterward.
